This anniversary meeting, the twenty-fifth time, took place in Rome, Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This time there were 22 of us registered, unfortunately Felix &amp; Bernadette were forced to cancel in the last minute due to Felix\u00b4s back surgery. Anyway the number of participants were almost 50% higher this year. We do hope this is a good sign for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everybody showed up Thursday late afternoon, this first evening we had a \u201dget-together-dinner\u201d in a nice restaurant \u201dnearby\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday we started with a bus-transfer to MVSEI VATICANI, we explored the \u201dwhole thing\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thousands of square meters and luckily we had a very good guide, without her we would probably still be wandering around at the museum? Then lunch and free afternoon. The Friday evening we had a guided tour exploring the Piazza\u00b4s of the city center. We ended up in Trastevere (on the other side of Tibern) just like all the other young people in town\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday we started (early) with a guided tour to the most important places, like Fontana di Trevi, Vittorio Emmanuele II Monumento, Foro Romano and Colosseo etc. After this little \u201dmorning walk\u201d we (the boys) were having our traditional meeting, see separate minutes. The most important thing to know is that we will see each other \u201dsomewhere\u201d in The Netherlands next year. Fly to Amsterdam and then Cees will show you the way\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ladies were shopping, relaxing, drank coffe or\u2026 Anyway we met for a very nice \u201daperitif lunch\u201d on the rooftop terrace of the Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday evening we had a traditional Italian meal (like all the other meals), during the whole stay we were very well supplied with food and wine.
