Round Table is a wonderful way of investing some time in sharing good moments with friends. Whether it is for the regular evening meetings, with or without presentations on interesting topics, whether it is the official statuary meetings like AGM’s, local or national, or whether it is the many opportunities of meeting international friends who live the same “joy of living”.
The specialty of Round Table is, that at the age of 41 years, the member must leave. Whilst this ensures the ongoing young spirit of the Club, it is however a deep cut in those regular involvements all around. Especially, if the member has been very active, by the means of climbing to the National Board of his country.
Exactly that emotion of missing something has driven me, then IRO on the French National Board, to organize a specific meeting for members of National Boards, to come and meet yearly, in a different country, and to enjoy fun and friendship internationally.
NoMe, Nostalgic Meeting or simply … know me and I know you … was born. Held in Biberach, South – Germany, my place of birth and combined with the local “Schützenfest”, international friendship and fellowship @ NoMe started.
Wonderful, to see, that still today, it is still happening with the same passion then at the start.
