Eight couples arrived on thursday the 20st to check in in one of the best Hotels of the Netherlands.The Karel V hotel right in the centre of Utrecht. It is with great sadness in my heart that I must announce that Filip Gille is not with us anymore. He sought medical help in August and then they discovered cancer. In November he passed away, such a rapid progression of the disease makes it even worse. At this moment we think of Eva and their four children with families. Filip is remembered fondly. On Saturday morning, after the official NoMe Me, we went to Midleton, where we learned everything about Irish whiskey, both theoretically and practically. With our alcohol levels raised, we travelled back to Cork for the NoMe dinner and the exchange of gifts. Dear Friends, After a fantastic weekend with our “Hazen”, a club of former board membersof the Round Table Netherlands, Nome member Paul Aaldering suddenly passedaway.
