Please find below Bjarnis invitation to the NoMe 2018 in Iceland. Who wants to make sure that he has a hotel room for the price of about 298 Euros, must register until 4th April 2018. The hotel would only offer this rate until 5.4.2018. Please keep in mind that Iceland is far away from Europe and there are other conditions than on the continent!

URGENT: Bjarni needs to know until April 4th who is staying at the Foss Hotel for the meeting. Therefore please go to the registration page and fill in the Comments Field with date of Arrival and Date of Departure AT THE FOSS HOTEL. All the rest will be organized later. Bjarni is convinced that he can get better rates in any place for those arriving earlier or leaving later in order to visit his wonderful country for some more than the weekend. The Problem is the particular weekend.

Dear NoMe friends
Everything is now ready ( nearly) for the next NoMe meeting here in Reykjavik.
There is though one important matter that needs to be fixed before the 5th of April
I need to know who are 100% ready to book hotel for the coming meeting.
We have managed to hold up to 20 double rooms at
Foss Hotel https://www.islandshotel.is/hotels-in-iceland/fosshotel-reykjavik/accommodations
They are not willing to hold them longer as for group until 5th of April so those
who want to secure their rooms need to make confirmed booking before that time
already 7 couple have registered so those of you that still have not registered and are
planing to come you need to do so before the 5th
The price for the standard double room including breakfast is isl.kr. 36.000 /night euro 296 at the rate today
Payment is 10% non refundable when booking and rest has to be paid 3 weeks before arrival
For special request we are also able to book few rooms in the tower even the Tower Suit 🙂
Our plan is to keep the cost down regarding registration fee and will not go higher than 300 euro/person.
I will inform later about the exact price and when needs to be paid.
There might be some of you that are planing to visit Iceland and include the NoMe in their
program. We would like to hear from you and your plans.
